THIS CAR IS NOT FOR SALE .
The car comes from one of the official Ford DTM teams – Wolf Racing. This car participated in Ford´s last season in the DTM (1989). The next year, regulations were changed, and that was over for succesfull racing carriere of the Ford Sierra in DTM and most of them went to race in pacific racing championchips.
Our Sierra is unique. The car was driven by Armin Hahne till his serious crash at Nurburgring in April 1989. He got the front hit from Ludwig´s Mercedes and Hahne was seriously injured and the car was destroyed. The team had immediately bought another bodywork from their competitor team Eggenberger – known for their black Texaco Sierra cars. They continued in the championship with the driver Alan Ferté. Thats why this car has the chassis number from another racing team. The Armin Hahne took part just in one race with this car and it was Nurburgring again in the autumn.
The car was sold 1991 to Charouz team to Czech Republic. Here car raced in europian hill-climb races for another 2 years. The drivers were Josef Michl and Josef Venc and another foreign drivers. It was for a long time part of the collection of the museum of sport and racing cars in Lány. Then it was sold to England where we found it and brought it to our invelt rallied and raced collection. It made a great row with the Ford Sierra RS500 Road car together with the Group A rally Sierra.
