THIS CAR IS NOT FOR SALE .
our car
Absolutely unique car in its originality. All of its components are still equipped with original BMW Motorsport production code tags. Our car won in season 1992 two races in the hands of Steve Soper, therefore it has written the history of the 90s DTM golden era. For the following seasons, BMW has withdrawn from DTM.
In seasons 1993 and 1994 the cars was driven in DTM by czech driver Josef Venc in the livery of his general partner Kaučuk Kralupy. After this period, the car was stored in deposit in Czech Republic. That is also the main reason, why the car is still in such original shape. Except of front fenders, the car is absolutely original and we had requests even from BMW Museum to buy the car for their collection. From czech deposit was the car sold to racing cars collector, Mr Florent Moulin and after some revision was sold back to Czech Republic into our collection in 2013.
In 2013, before the sale to our collection, Mr Moulin organized commemoration at BMW Motorsport hospitality, where were invited all important persons having something in common with Bigazzi Team of the cars era, including Steve Soper, who was driving it. All of these persons wrote testaments on cars roof which was followed by their siganture. Regarding to testaments from person who unfortunately allready passed away (Paul Rosche and Karl Heinz Kalbfell), this car and its testaments are very rare part of the 90s motorsport period.
The second vehicle prepared by Bigazzi that year, Mr Emmanuele Pirro, is a part of private collection in New Zealand.
Our car is in fully working spec and was last raced in 2015 at Hockenheimring during heritage days.
